Our principal accountant, Jennifer McManus, is an expert at business solutions. With more than 18 years of experience, she excels at bringing the big picture into focus and explaining complex ideas in simple, easy-to-understand terms. She can assist you with both the work at hand and your vision for the future – helping you develop a foundation to move forward.  

Jennifer is also an Enrolled Agent.  Not only can she can help with the day to day bookkeeping needs, prepare and review financial statements with you but also work with you through the process of tax return preparation and filing. 

The definition of the word customer is:  “a person who purchases a commodity or service.”

But, in looking up the word client in the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the definition is:

“one that is under the protection of another”

Jennifer loves that definition.  This is the way she sees everyone she deals with in her business day in and day out, and it is communicated within the company so that everyone treats each and every person as a client, not just a customer.

Jennifer has designed and implemented the fundamental business processes and functions for start-up companies; played a key role in installations of accounting systems and enterprise software; and developed countless management tools, HR products, and other business administration improvements

While her accounting experience is extensive, she enjoys working with small business owners and finds reward in things as simple as standard bookkeeping.  . She is continually upgrading her skills and certifications including QuickBooks ProAdvisor, as well as her tax continuing education hours each year.
